Barack Obama faced a major headache last night as he began his five-month quest to become America’s first black President. The triumphant Democrat nominee is desperate to concentrate on his head-to-head battle with John McCain, his Republican foe in November’s presidential election.

Sen. Clinton, please do the Democratic party a favor by ending this negative and selfish campaign of yours!! You’re harming WOMEN as well as the country for POWER. My family and I’ve supported you and Pres. Clinton over the years but surprisingly, we have learned so much as we’ve watched the real YOU come out!! Quite frankly, your campaign tactics have been very disappointing and disgusting!
However, you can make amends or start the HEALING process by standing up in front of the NATION on Friday or Saturday and apoligizing to not only Sen. Obama and his family but to all the good and progressive people for your race-baiting, selfishness, power-hungry and by “any means necessary” behavior.
On Tuesday night when Sen. Obama reached this historic milestone in our country, you decided to disrespect him and all his supporters in front of the world by not even acknowledging he had surpassed the number of delegates based on the RULES of the party. HE WON!!!!! Which means he became the Democratic Party’s Nominee for President of this beautiful country. I’m SO PROUD!!
Lastly, for a couple who have spent your life’s work on behalf of equal rights for the poor, women’s rights, the disenfranchised and more importantly your work on behalf of the children of America and the world….leaves me REALLY disappointed because I expected so much more!!!!
And as a woman who served more than 25 years in the U. S. Air Force, I’m really really PROUD of where my country is today! We must all standup and face the fact that all Americans haven’t always been really really proud! But its AMERICANS like you that have made many AMERICANS like myself, less proud before!! Particularly in the 60’s, 70’s and yes even in the 21st CENTURY…..
More importantly, I really would like to see a woman as President or Vice President but unfortunately, you’re not the one to make history!
AND WHY WEREN’T YOU WEARING YOUR FLAG PIN ON YOUR PANTSUIT LAPEL? DOES THAT MAKE YOU LESS-PATRIOTIC????? AND I NOTICED Sen MCCain wasn’t wearing his flag pin d in Kennerly, LA when he was using air time to support YOU either on Tues night!! ummmmm…
